A transparent process
How We Work
AI is a tool in the studio. Isla’s choices, questions, revisions, and explanations are the growth story.
Choose or shape the idea
We start with a question, a person to help, or something Isla wants to understand.
Make the work age-appropriate
We break the project into steps and decide what Isla can do independently, with support when needed.
Use AI carefully
AI may help brainstorm, explain, generate options, or support a technical step. It does not replace Isla’s authorship.
Review, revise, explain
We keep drafts and changes where useful, check facts, and ask Isla what she would change next.
Who did what?
Every public project names Isla’s contribution, the parent’s contribution, and AI’s contribution. This helps a reader understand the real process instead of guessing from a polished final image.
Privacy is part of the process
Projects are reviewed before publication. We avoid surnames, school details, fixed schedules, precise locations, and other identifying information. We revisit consent over time. Public visibility is a deliberate choice, not the default.
Evidence over hype
The archive is not trying to prove that a six-year-old can do everything alone. It records how support changes over time: asking better questions, checking outputs, choosing between options, organizing files, revising a result, and explaining what she learned.
